easy steps! Really! Learn the basics of the fun and easy styles of
Swing that took Hollywood by storm.
12pm-1.30pm - Group Class. Bag of Tricks! Following on from
the morning session, you add to your basics with some of the cool
moves that have made these dances so contagious.
2pm-6pm - Swing Pit. Put your moves to music in a social setting. BYO nibbles and drinks and listen to Jake spin some fantastic tunes.

Rae, from local act Country Town Collective, will be running a series
of workshops on the finer points of music. For those interested in
learning more about not only the practice, but also the theory of
music, come along! Workshops will be once a week at DCA, starting
Monday the 19th of October at 5.30pm. For more information call DCA on

The Indian Cultural Society NT is putting on an Evening of Songs, Dances and Dinner.

Join the human tide-line on Jingili Footbridge, Trower Rd by the Water Gardens
10am Saturday 24th October, 2009 - 10.30am - Photo!
Join us for a fun creative community day of climate change action by
being part of a human tide line to mark the potential sea-level rise
we're facing if we don't reduce emissions. Wear blue and if you wish,
also bring a fish made from recycled materials with your own message to
Government on the back. We will be taking a big group photo on the
day, and deliveing the catch of fish to parliament the following week.
