Darwin Community Arts is holding its first Working Bee on Saturday 7th August 10am - 2pm. We are hoping DCA's large network of community members, artists... and generally anyone supportive of DCA can come and help!
There is a variety of tasks, from moving storage to gardening.
Lunch will be catered for and kids activities will be running keep the little ones busy.
If you are an artist using recycled materials, you can take home a lot of 'junk' we don't want. You also may be able to pick up some disused office items and computers.
Contact us if you have any questions. If not, see you on Saturday 7th August!

The Northern Territory Government invites artists, arts workers and business owners, community development workers and anyone passionate about Territory arts to attend a community consultation on Territory arts policy, which will include a presentation about the Living Arts Policy - Discussion Paper.

The consultation sessions provide Territorians with the opportunity to discuss how a new arts policy can drive the achievement of Territory 2030 goals and A Working Future priorities.

Through the consultations, the Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport (NRETAS) will finalise a new draft arts policy for consideration and determine strategies for developing a new arts funding framework.
