Capturing Sunlight – Afternoon Workshop SOLD OUT
Join Darwin artist, Aly de Groot for a cyanotype printing workshop. In this session we will explore the outline and form of natural found objects.
Cyanotype printing is a photographic process where an object is placed on a prepared surface such as paper or fabric and exposed to sunlight. We will be making cards and prints.
Bring along a collection of natural materials or wind fallen leaves that you wish to print. Flat objects with interesting shapes work best such as leaves, pressed flowers, seedpods, cutout shapes, woven materials.
Suitable for those aged 15 and over.
The morning and afternoon sessions will cover the same content. Please only book for one.
Covid Precautions: Please do not attend if you are feeling at all unwell with cold or flu symptoms on the day. Our venues have a QR code sign-in on the door and hand sanitiser available. All tickets will be refunded if the event needs to be cancelled due to a covid outbreak.
This workshop is part of the Intermingle – art inspired by nature series coordinated by Georgia Glen.
