Drawn Outside – Week Two
The second in a series of workshops in watercolour landscape painting focussing on colour.
Spend time sitting, observing and representing our wonderful natural landscapes around Darwin.
These weekly workshops, guided by Ian Hance will cover a variety of topics including; material recommendations, tips for painting outdoors, visual composition, colour theory, mark making and different types of washes.
Each workshop will focus on a different theme and progressively build over the weeks. The program is somewhat flexible to respond to the particular interests of the group. Although bookings are week to week, we do recommend attending the entire series if possible.
Week 2: Colour
- The nature of watercolour: stains and pigments, granulation
