
Lit Larvae
Hey! Are you a young person interested in exploring textiles, design and costume creation PLUS much more?
Lit Larvae (meaning: exciting young bees) is an 8-week creative program for Queer, Trans, Intersex, Gender Diverse or questioning people aged 14-20 years from the Darwin and Palmerston region. Providing mentorship from local queer arts practitioners offering skills development in design, costume, event production and the art of textiles.

The Intensives are experimental multimodal art play days where participants are introduced to various art materials and practices in a ‘come-and-try’ format.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM
The 8-week workshop program is a progressive weekly program where art skills are built on each week leading to an end of year celebration. Attendance for the whole of the 8 weeks is preferred but is flexible.
