Origami at Seabreeze Festival
Join us under a shady tree at the Ripple Effect, Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival. Drop in any time between 1:30-4pm. With the assistance of Lottie Boardman we will be folding origami stygafauna, ghost bats and water lilies for an installation under the fig tree.
To learn more about stygafauna, Professor Jenny Davis will be talking from 1:30-2pm at the Ripple Effect. She is part of the team that recently discovered 11 new species in the NT. Jenny is a fabulous speaker and she will get you very excited about these small but important creatures that help to keep our underground water systems clean.
The activity is free and suitable for adults and children alike. We will also have colouring in materials available.
Look out for the DCA and ECNT signs. The Ripple Effect area is located at windsurfers (kite) corner along the Nightcliff foreshore.
