Board
The DCA Board for 2011-2012:
Pam Pemberton, Chair. Pam was Deputy Chair in the last Board. She is also our Public Officer. Pam recently retired from a senior position in the Northern Territory Government (in Indigenous Policy Development). She also has rich experience and a continuing interest in community arts, specifically theatre, in Australia and overseas.
Jim McDougall, Deputy Chair. Jim is with the Darwin Seniors Computer Club and helps coordinate Malak Telecentro activities.
Pasquale Tassone, Treasurer. Pasquale is Darwin manager for Patrick Autocare. He has a keen interest in the Humanities, Social Justice and Cross Cultural subjects, and has over twenty years experience in the transport industry and in corporate structures.
Sandar Tun, Secretary. Sandar is a community arts organiser for My Sisters' Kitchen, Frontline, and other projects. She is also a Burmese interpreter and community organiser.
Gener Lapina, Member. Gener is a dancer and a worker at Melaleuca Refugee Centre.
Bhakti Mainaly, Member. Bhakti is a Bhutanese community leader and participant of My Sisters' Kitchen and other projects.
Denis Blackford, Member. Denis is a visual artist and musician.
Erick Zaera, Member. Erick is a musician and leader of the Dreamvoice Dancers.
Penny Campton, Staff Representative, is an artists and also manages Arts Access Darwin.
Christian Ramilo, Executive Officer, is an ex-officio Board member.
