Board of Management 2008-2009

A new Board of Management was elected at the Annual General Meeting on 21 April 2009:

Pam Pemberton, Chair. Pam was Deputy Chair in the last Board. She is also our Public Officer. Pam recently retired from a senior position in the Northern Territory Government (in Indigenous Policy Development). She also has rich experience and a continuing interest in community arts, specifically theatre, in Australia and overseas.

Ali Mills, Deputy Chair. Ali is a well-known Darwin performer and community artist. She is working to establish an Indigenous Theatre organisation in Darwin in cooperation with DCA.

Pasquale Tassone, Treasurer.  Pasquale is Darwin manager for Patrick Autocare. He has a keen interest in the Humanities, Social Justice and Cross Cultural subjects, and has over twenty years experience in the transport industry and in corporate structures. 

Fezile Mpehle, Member. Fezile is the Vice President of the Africa ­Australia Friendship Association and has worked with DCA to promote arts among African communities in Darwin.

Louise Partos, Member. Louise is the Executive Office of Artback NT. Louise has an extensive background in the not for profit arts and culture sector including project management and cross cultural development. She has worked for many years within communities, particularly Aboriginal and within the museum sector.

Conor Fox, Member. Conor works for Melaleuca Refugee Centre. He is also a puppeteer, theatre worker, and artist.

Brenda Logan, Member. Brenda is an experienced theatre worker and community arts worker. She coordinates My Sister's Kitchen for DCA and is our Venue Manager.

Zac Rudge, Executive Officer, is an ex-­officio Board member. Zac coordinates several DCA projects and is co-Executive Officer. Zac has extensive community development experience in Australia and overseas and has a special interest in youth, street art, and hip hop.
