HUMAN RIGHTS WEEK

8 Dec 2008 - 10:00am
12 Dec 2008 - 5:00pm
Australia/North

Human Rights Week events are about celebrating human rights, drawing attention to areas of concern and bringing the community together to recognise and foster a culture of respect for human rights. The events focus on many areas of human rights such as torture, the environment, the declaration of human rights, and local and international issues.

2008 is an important year, as it is the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, which we will be celebrating on Human Rights Day Wednesday 10th.

There are many fun events to check out, so get involved! ALL EVENTS ARE FREE
