Stakeholder Forum

Twenty two participants attended the Stakeholder Forum on 4 April 2014 at Chambers Crescent Theatre. Shel O'Toole facilitated the forum.

Community Dinner March 2014

Around 300 people attended the Harmony Day Community Dinner that was held at the Chambers Crescent Theatre on 31 March 2014. Darwin Community Arts would like to thank our staff and volunteers that made the night so successful.

Expanding the Horizon, February 2014, Adelaide

Bong Ramilo presented at "Expanding The Horizon", a Country Arts South Australia Forum, 28 February 2014, at Adelaide Zoo, Adelaide. The forum was on "Conversations with Artists in Communities".

Community Dinner February 2014

The Monthly Community Dinner on 24 February 2014 was again well-attended, with great performances from One Mob, Ali Mills, John Hakim, and other artists. My Sisters' Kitchen participants again prepared and served the food to over 200 participants. This was the first dinner of 2014.

Zippy Arts Project System (ZAPS) Meeting

John Smithies, Director of Cultural Development Network (CDN) of Victoria, visited Darwin on 22 February 2014 to meet with Bong Ramilo, Felino Molina, and Miguel Molina, to discuss development plans for the Zippy Arts Project System (ZAPS) web site project.

Spectres of Evaluation, February 2014, Footscray

Session at Spectres of Evaluation

Bong Ramilo attended "Spectres of Evaluation" on 6-7 February 2014 at Footscray Community Arts Centre, Melbourne. Bong was a member of a panel on the discussion "Is it two sides of a coin or completely different currency", chaired by Lenine Burke, with Alex Kelly and Scotia Monkivitch.

Workshops at Good Shepherd Lutheran School

Teachers at Good Shepherd Lutheran School at Howard Springs attended workshops on digital arts and ukulele were held at the school on 21-22 January 2014, as part of staff development. The teachers requested workshops on ukulele, Tagtool, 3D Printing, GarageBand and iMovie for iPad.
